Sascha Harding

We love how Kinder Gym has put the fun in excercise from such an early age. My girls love coming every week.

Both of my girls have been enjoying Fitness for Fun classes for over a year. They are thrilled to be able to do forward rolls, hand stand, cartwheels and more. I'm sure their co-ordination, strength and cnofidence in their physical abilities are far better than if they were not attending classes; But most of all they have so much fun!

My daughter has only just started at Fitness for Fun but already she has learnt to forward and backward roll. She loves it and looks forward to coming every week.

Thank-you again for the wonderful job of your staff at Zoe-Rose's birthday party on Sunday 4th May.

Not only were they very professional in organising the children, they were so friendly and fun which made all the kids feel so relaxed and happy. Most of the children attend our childcare so I was told all week by parents and staff that the children could not stop talking about the party all week. They were all so proud of their medals and wore them all week to childcare. It was so lovely to see them all so happy.

Fun Fact

  • Take off two points less than the child's age & this is how many instructions they can follow i.e 3-2=1
  • According to NASA, (and they know their stuff!), rebound exercise such as trampolining is ‘the most efficient, effective form of exercise yet devised by man’ -
  • The word gymnastics derives from the Greek word 'gymnazein' translated means to "exercise naked".
  • Did you know that crawling provides neurological information and pathways that the brain requires for efficient learning, absorption, retention and expression of knowledge?
  • Trampolining is a low impact sport and is a great form of exercise. It keeps you active, without having to work too hard.
  • The brain takes up 2[%] of our body weight, though consumes 20[%] of our daily energy!
  • Friedrich Ludwig Jahn of Germany is generally considered the father of gymnastics as he invented several pieces of apparatus, including the parallel bars and the balance beam, which are used today.
  • The brain loves stories, as they have an emotional component and a start, middle and ending. These all attract parts of the brain, which then stimulate learning.
